A new private GP service has opened at Health Space 307, with same-day appointments. Dr Tal Helbitz is the founder of The Medical Space, offering fast access to exceptional medical care.
Having been a GP in the NHS for 18 years, Dr Helbitz explains,

“Patients tell me that they would value a longer consultation with their GP, and often need to be seen the same day. The Medical Space is here to offer that same-day care, putting the patients’ needs first.

“Sometimes patients are just seeking a fast consultation with a private GP before returning to NHS care, making it ideal even for those without health insurance. Patients have the option to dip in and out.”

Patients come to The Medical Space not only for immediate attention and specialist referrals, but also for a whole host of diagnostic tests. As well as taking samples for analysis and offering advanced imaging, the clinic provides other essential services such as prescriptions, fit notes, and documents for travel.

Dr Helbitz has often noticed patients are hesitant about troubling a doctor unless they are feeling very unwell. He advises,

“Early testing can pick up conditions before they manifest themselves as symptoms. Having a ‘medical MOT’, can play a vital role in preventative medicine, giving doctors the opportunity to intervene before conditions develop.”
