    Class includes physical postures that combine precision, creativity and alignment to cultivate a healthy body and mind. Focus is placed on aligning the body to release stress and pressure from the joints including the spine, helping you to deepen your body awareness and cultivate healthy body usage for the long term. Classes also include breath work, relaxation and an introduction to meditation to help you to tune inward, rest more deeply and bring about a sense of peace.

    Feldenkrais Classes are a series of gentle movement sequences. The movements are slow and mindful and not only improve posture, strength, flexibility and coordination, but also improve everyday functional movements like turning, bending, reaching or walking.

    During a class you are typically lying on a mat on the floor and you are verbally guided through a series of movements. Your attention is directed to how you are experiencing the movements – developing an awareness of how you are moving and creating new possibilities, overcoming patterns or habits, possibly acquired over years
